Several new Barbie dolls have been released at BarbieCollector. I'm rather sad to see that the new Barbie Look Festival Barbie uses the lovely Aphrodite face. I had seen a sneak peek of this doll using the Steffie face mold (my favorite). However, she is quite cute, with her bohemian style dress, fringed tote, camera, water bottle and music festival tickets. She is a black label articulated doll and retails for $29.95.
Party Perfect is the next doll in the Barbie Look collection, also for $29.95. She is also an articulated black label doll. She uses the Lea face sculpt, and I adore her outfit. She comes with a a picture fram, silver clutch, a gift bag and her party invite.
There's also a new $50 articulated Silkstone Gold Label doll, Chic City Suit. She has painted lashes, and has a blue chiffon and taffeta dress with matching taffeta jacket.
I'm rather surprised to see the release of three new Star Trek dolls, Uhura, Spock and Kirk. In celebration of their 50th anniversary. The dolls are silver label, and they look articulated, and it also looks like they have new facial sculpts. Retail is $34.95. All three are backordered till July 7. Check out Spock's Vulcan greeting hand. It seems when you order a combined total of $100s worth of the Barbie Look dolls and Star Trek dolls, you get free shipping.
Last but not least, it's another Barbie Fan Club Exclusive, Chiffon Ball Gown Barbie. This doll was designed by Carlyle Nuera, and she retails for $85, only available for BFC members (which are still available for purchase). She's wearing a black and white striped chiffon ballgown with faux leather gloves. She uses the model muse body and the generation girl Mari face sculpt.
